Apart from my kindergarten, which
I did in Radisson, in James Bay,
I did all of my school years in Oka and Two Mountains.
In my first year of college, I did two sessions doing only regular class at St-Jerome.
I wanted to study in Multimedia but they were no more places left when I registered myself. Then, after those two sessions,
I decided not to go in Multimedia but to go in Cinema, and that’s how I got here, at Lionel-Groulx, in Cinema. I decided
to study here because it is near my house than St-Jerome. At school, I always got good grades in history, mathematic and gym.
I really love literature but I am really bad in writing. I did too much spelling mistakes. I try really hard to improve this
because I really love to read and I want to write a book someday. I plan to travel all around the world next year and write
a book about this. But of course, I want it to be a novel, like a post-modern version of On
The Road by Kerouac. I really want to go as far as I can in my education because I want to be a teacher. I want to teach
geography and history either in college or secondary school. I’ll do my best to have a university diploma in history.
I also want to travel all around
the world because it’ll be good for my career if I teach geography and history and also because I feel like I need to.
I can’t stand be sitting on a chair for six or seven year in a row. I need to see new things, live experience, live
misery, feel I’m in the wrong place and feel I’m no longer home. I want to escape this hermetic society. I want
to live by myself and learn new culture. Dylan spoke to me one day when he wrote :«How does it feel to be on your own, with
no direction home, like a rolling stone.» And I said to him that it’s the best feeling a man can ever have. This is
how I am. This summer, I went to Spain to walk on the Camino Francès, the
Santiago Road. After that, I went to Morocco, and I felt really great in a new culture, in the Tangiers and Fez medinas and in the Jemma El-Fna,
in Marrakech. I feel good when I’m away from home. So this is pretty much what I am. I love geography, history, literature,
travelling and music and on top of that, life!
